Nathan's year Reflection
MATH=This year I was worried that the math in fourth grade would be hard but then when I did the first lesson and the fist mid module then the teacher said to me would you like to join math Olympiad because all of this looks easy to you since I got it all correct.This was my favorite year doing Eureka math I thought fourth grade math was going to be hard because it was a new year and new things I would learn and I thought it would be hard.In math I enjoyed decimals because decimals are basically a fraction and I like fractions also.I thought that long division was hard and confusing but when I went home and worked on it with my parents then I got how to do it and I was really good at it.
Reading=In reading I enjoyed reading about fiction because the writer that made the book made something up and put it into a book like zombies or aliens that take over the world or weird creatures that eat people when they uh make noise.I thought that reading historical fiction would be hard because it would be hard to find a historical fiction book that you would like.Also I have completed 2 full reading logs and on the one I have now I have finished 2 full pages and 2/16 of the third page.
Writing =In writing I enjoyed writing about realistic fiction because we get to make up our that could happen in real life Like one of the books I made were a kid gets stuck at home and finds an ''intruder''.I thought that writing literary essays were hard because we had to think of three reasons with three reasons for each reason that leaves us with 12 reasons to think of.
Science= I thought that science was fun because we got to do fun electricity and magnet projects and lessons.I enjoyed electricity lessons and projects because we get to try and make a lightbulb light
Social Studies=I thought that social studies was fun because we got to learn about our past and what it was like.I enjoyed the revolutionary war because it teaches us not to do things that a lot of people don't like or they wont like you. I thought that social studies was going to be boring but it was interesting.
Year reflection=My year in grade 4 was one of my favorite year I ever had.I worked hard to complete as many goals as my mind made for me to do in this year.At the beginning of the year I was scared that I wasn't going to fit in with all the other kids.And now i fit in and its like i'm just apart of the community.
Core Values=This was my 5th year learning about the core values I think that core values are a good because they teach you manners of to do the right thing and have courageousness and a whole bunch of other things.The most important core value is respect because it shows that you are listening and paying attention to things that other people are saying.
